Two core values drive us as we seek to strengthen youth ministries across America:

We believe God is more glorified when churches and believers are more unified. We desire to be part of the answer to Jesus’ prayer for unity in John 17. We are a relational broker that connects churches, ministries, parents, teachers, student leaders, and concerned adults to reach students and advance God’s kingdom.

We believe that a strong youth worker increases the chances for a strong youth ministry. So we nurture and encourage youth workers, offer training and resources and strive to have a healthy local network within reach of every youth worker in the South Central Region.

We offer training events for youth workers. It is not a cookie cutter approach, but we work with you and your ministry and address your needs for youth workers, whether they are full time, part time or volunteers.

We help churches develop a stronger youth ministry by guiding them through a process that honors their tradition, theology, resources and people, as they discern God’s agenda in their cultural context.

We help churches with the search process.

We offer Sabbath style retreats for youth pastors to get away, care for their soul and to listen to the voice of God.

Our job is overwhelming, but thankfully we serve a big God.

Can one person really care for youth workers across Texas and New Mexico? No, but one person can work with many other people and lead them to ensure systems and strategies are in place to care for youth workers, build local networks so there is a healthy local network within reach for every youth worker in Texas and New Mexico and help churches strengthen their approach to ministering to students.

These are the 9 Areas that Len is responsible for. He personally is over TX-2, Mark Whitaker with YouthNet is over TX-3, so we’re praying for seven Champions to lead the other areas. There are some relationships with people and a few of them may be willing to be the point person for their area. The key ingredients are they have a heart of networking the kingdom and can keep a pulse on things in their area.
