Len Evans oversees Texas and New Mexico for the National Network of Youth Ministries.
He’s a youth ministry activist and relational broker who connects churches, ministries and people with each other to reach more students for Jesus. One of his greatest joys is offering hope and help to hurting youth workers out of the comfort God has given him.
His ministry includes pastoring youth pastors and youth workers, helping build healthy local youth ministry networks, providing youth ministry training and walking alongside churches with a process so they can discern and discover what a healthy youth ministry means in their context.
He has served in full-time youth ministry since graduating from Dallas Theological Seminary in 1994. He has served churches in New Jersey, Connecticut and his native Texas.
He is the author of Creative Bible Lessons in 1 and 2 Timothy & Titus and wrote a chapter for The Youth Workers Book of Hope. He has been on panels and presented seminars at the National Youth Workers Convention and the Simply Youth Ministry Conference. This year he is serving as a convention pastor for both of the National Youth Workers Conventions and he had a similar role with the Simply Youth Ministry Conference.
He has written for Youth Worker Journal, The Journal of Student Ministries, Group, Youth Leaders Only and the UKs Youthwork magazine. He is going to be a regular contributor to Group Magazine. He will write about networking, being better together, in their Tools section.
